Luminous Inverlast ILST12042 100AH Tubular Battery

Luminous Inverlast ILST12042 100AH tubular battery is commonly referred as Luminous 100AH tubular battery. A battery also requires an inverter to provide power backup. The power backup duration depends on the battery capacity. Also, lower usage of appliances during power cut will result in longer power backup time. Similarly, higher usage of appliances during power cut will result in shorter power backup time.

A battery capacity is measured in ‘AH’ (Amp hours). Inverter batteries are available from 60AH to 250AH. The customer should identify the duration of power cut experienced by them. High battery capacity provides longer backup during power cut.

Schools, colleges are conducting the classes online and employees are working from home due to Covid-19. We need uninterrupted power supply for students to study and employees to work without disruption. Hence we need an inverter battery & inverter to provide power backup for home & office use.

Batteries that are connected to an inverter for power backup are popularly known as inverter batteries. Lead Acid battery, SMF battery, Flat Tubular battery, Tall Tubular battery, Gel battery and Lithium ion battery can be connected to an inverter. Tubular battery, Gel battery and Lithium ion batteries are best inverter batteries for home use as they do not emit hazardous fumes.

We experience power cuts in India throughout the year. In summers, due to extreme heat, we experience power cuts due to transformer failure or grid failure. In monsoon, due to heavy rains, we experience power cuts due to cables getting snapped and sometimes power cut is intentional as a precautionary measure.

Electrician charges for direct inverter wiring connection (not a recommended solution) is approx. INR 1000. For a 2BHK or 3BHK, electrician charges for point to point inverter wiring connection (recommended solution) is approx. INR 3500.

Electrician charges for inverter battery installation is approx. INR 300. They will remove the old inverter battery and connect the new inverter battery terminals to the inverter.

Luminous Eco Volt 750 inverter provides output of 650VA which is 546 watts. Luminous 100AH battery provides power backup of 1.7 hours on full load of 546 watts and 3.4 hours on half load (273 watts).

Luminous Zelio 1100 inverter provides output of 900VA which is 756 watts. Luminous 100AH battery provides power backup of  1.3 hours on full load of 756 watts and 2.6 hours on half load (378 watts).
